Your Birmingham Golf Basecamp
Historic courses, RTJ Trail gems, and StayBham homes minutes from the first tee. Bring the whole foursome, we've got room.
Birmingham is a golf city. Seriously.
Most people know Birmingham for its food scene and civil rights history. But this city sits at the crossroads of some of the South's finest golf from Alabama's oldest course in Highland Park to the world-class Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail just minutes from downtown. Add a Jack Nicklaus–designed private club that's hosted PGA Championships, and you've got a destination that belongs on every golfer's short list. StayBham homes put you right in the middle of it all. No sterile hotel lobbies, no fighting over one bathroom. Our locally-inspired retreats give your group a real home base, separate bedrooms, full kitchens, gathering spaces, so you can cook breakfast before your tee time and rehash every shot over drinks on the porch.

The Bucket-List Round: Shoal Creek
No Birmingham golf page is complete without mentioning Shoal Creek, a Jack Nicklaus design that's hosted two PGA Championships and the 2018 U.S. Women's Open. It's a private club, so tee times aren't open to the public, but if you have a member connection, this is the round you'll talk about for years. Even without Shoal Creek access, the public and resort courses around Birmingham offer more than enough world-class golf to fill a long weekend.
